Staring at the screen, fingers poised over the keys. struggling to pin down a thought.
Sometimes the words come easily, sometimes I can’t find them at all.
It’s a common enough occurrence, though I cringe whenever someone calls it “Writers Block.”
There is no block.
Other responsibilities clamber for my focus.
Other distractions scream for attention.
I’m buried under the weight of wanting to contribute something of value: humor or insight.
But the vortex of my mind swirls unable to settle on one idea.
The only way to fight through it? Write about it.
Write or write not; there is no block.
