The month of December is filled with reasons to celebrate and wish others well as one year ends and another begins.
Holiday comes from the old English word hāligdæg which literally means “holy day” and referred to special religious occasions.
I’ve never understood why people get so offended when someone says, “Happy holidays” given that it means “Happy holy days.”
Share whatever seasons’ greetings you like. If people take offense, that’s on them.
