I’ve spent some time in the last weeks expressing gratitude to some of the wonderful people I know. I got about a quarter of the way through a my list before life got in the way (moving, editing, parenting…) I’m hoping to finish the list by the end of the year, but in the meantime, I offer thanks to all of you.
If you are a friend, thank you for your humor, your humanity, and your sturdy shoulders.
If you are a parent, thank you for raising your children to be kind, courageous, and generous.
If you are an educator, thank you for giving your time, money, and selves to teach the next generations how to read, add, create, and think.
If you are an artist, thank you for baring your soul and making it a bit easier for everyone to express themselves.
If you are a scientist, thank you for research, communication, and reason.
You make the world special by just being you.
