Everyday (adjective) = ordinary or commonplace
Every day (noun phrase) = each day

That space makes a difference.

“Just grab the everyday plates; we don’t need the China for tuna casserole.”
“But, Mom, we use those dishes every day. Can’t we do something special today?”
