Jam, v. to wedge tightly
v. to bruise by squeezing
n. a mass of objects jammed together
n. a preserve of fruit
Jamb, n. the vertical sides of a doorway or other opening

I was able to jam the jar into the jam of jams in the pantry, but jammed my toe between the door and the jamb when I tried to close it.
