She has an appearance of always doing the right thing, but only when someone is looking, or when it can benefit her in some way. Take, for example, the recent opportunity she had to raise money for needy families. Rather than use every minute of time allotted for fundraising, she instead tried to take over the job that had been assigned to other volunteers. When that didn’t work, she meandered away, sitting down out of sight of everyone else. With only an hour left, she finally gathered her fundraising supplies and heads off into the crowd. But not ten minutes later, another volunteer appeared, having been moved out of her assigned space because Claudette again decided not to do what she had signed up for.
